In this 10-minute Ready to Go Mobile Guide, you will learn how to safely plan, prepare, and operate in a flooded environment. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution designed this guide in collaboration with the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation for organizations, staff, and volunteers based in areas with limited access to safety and rescue equipment. This resource provides guidance on how to plan for a flood, manage hazards in the water, use equipment and communication signals, practice safety awareness around the use of boats, and follow safety procedures when rescuing yourself and others in a flood situation.
